My name is Lionel Le Folgoc (also known as mr_pouit). I'm a 25-year-old French PhD student (SMIS team, INRIA Rocquencourt, France).

I am currently involved in several Open Source projects (mainly around Ubuntu).
I am a MOTU, core-dev, Xubuntu Technical Lead, and an (inactive) admin of the Medibuntu unofficial repository. More details are available on my Launchpad profile. I am also involved in the Ubuntu French locoteam, currently taking a break though (I have been an admin of the forum moderation team until mid-2008, and a technical admin of the forum until end-2009). Therefore, my work for Ubuntu is mostly packaging: an accurate(?) list of packages and/or projects I touched is available on Launchpad.
I have been maintaining some packages in Debian as well, such as ffmpegthumbnailer. Besides I am a member of the pkg-xfce team (see this link for more details).
I am also a regular contributor to Xfce: besides usual patch and bugfix stuff, I implemented a video thumbnailer for Tumbler, and added support for RandR 1.2 to xfce4-settings. Lately, I have been porting xfce4-volumed to libpulse and developing a small tool to migrate Thunar emblems from TDB to GVfs.
Of course, this is just a short summary; my weblog is also a good way to know what I am working on now (there's also my list of not-so-useful git branches).
